Our Belief

We believe that freedom from life-controlling addictions can be accomplished through the healing power of Jesus Christ, and that it is through a personal relationship with Him that we receive the strength, to heal, grow and maintain sobriety in our lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide evidence-based and Christ-centered personal development programs to individuals addicted to alcohol and/or life-controlling substances.

Our Programs

We offer 13-month, community based live-in programs for male adults 18 and older struggling with alcohol and substance abuse addictions.

"What makes Christian recovery different?"

There are many factors that set us apart from traditional recovery programs, and we believe these differences are some of the biggest reasons our program has such high success rates. We offer healing through Christ in a way that traditional recovery programs cannot.​

 

When a person is struggling with substance use disorders, they are usually feeling lost and they feel as though they can’t find themselves.  A powerful connection in Christ helps light the way.  This is sometimes referred to as the “Jesus Factor”.

 

When former students are asked, they most commonly attributed their success to their faith and family. Our 12-month, Christ-centered program gives our students the time they need to reconnect with God and form a stronger connection. The combination of Christian values and a long recovery period makes all the difference in helping our students avoid relapse. ​​

"I want to talk to you about how Life Challenge has changed my life. I have been here for 4 months. I was homeless and drunk. Then one day I made a call to Life Challenge, and they changed my life forever.
 
They took me in and gave me shelter and food. They showed me how to live a sober life through God and through tools they’ve given me. Tools are information given to me either through the bible, classes like relapse prevention, anger management, and stress management. I even got to use my working skills at the recovery house like painting and laying floor.
 
 The staff are here to help to guide you in the right direction. So, when the time comes to leave this program you will have the knowledge to move on with your life without the worries of using. Yes, there will be temptations along the way. But if you use the tools they’ve given you will be able to overcome those temptations.
 
That one phone call could change your life forever. You must believe in yourself and most of all you have to believe in God. When you are ready to make that change in your life, Life Challenge will be there for you."
